The Ring Masters Back On Track!!

Sharing the pencil and ink mock up and the actual color page from the comic “Shi Araku’s Journey from The Way” Issue #1 Woodlands Elementary School (Central Kitsap School District) Career Day, December 13, 2019

Been so busy lately that I have neglected keeping you all informed about what has been happening in The Ring Masters Comic world!
Briefly–Issue #3, long delayed, is back on track with a scheduled February 2020 release. A new artist is on board and he has the script and has been in constant communication with me. He is an international talent, living and working in South America–a more formal introduction in my post next week.
Shi Araku’s Journey from The Way, is also getting back on track. Issue #2 script is done and will given to artist Steven Millage next week.
Working to trademark New Phase Comics, and have a new logo for The Ring Masters that will also be trademarked. Getting super serious about this endeavor and will hit it hard during the Christmas Break so I can start the new year off on the right foot.
And speaking of the New Year–a new Kickstarter Campaign that will have some exciting levels…and the attached pictures give a slight hint on what some of them will involve–kids!!

Elizabeth Blandin (my wife and Editor of The Ring Masters franchise and New Phase Comics) and I participated in Career Day on Friday, December 13th, at Woodlands Elementary School in the Central Kitsap School District, Silverdale, Washington. Had a great time sharing The Ring Masters with the students, hearing about their dreams of either writing a comic or drawing one. Many told us they had created their own characters, and they had lots of questions about The Ring Masters, the characters, the process of writing a script and just comics in general.
Kids are so cool when they get excited about something. Everytime I do a visit like this I know how The Ring Masters can make a difference…through the minds, the hearts and the creative energy of kids!!
Tuesday, December 17th, we will be visiting another school in the district–Pincrest Elementary (Silas Berry’s class) and will do a longer presentation and–give 26 kids 4 gift wrapped comic books and (don’t tell anyone) a signed copy of The Ring Masters #0, and each copy will also be hand numbered to 27–teacher included!! It will be so cool…and I will have more to share later this week!

Share this post with others and thank you all for your support and Likes. Check out and The Ring Masters Comic on Kickstarter to get an idea of how the first campaign played out and more recent posts.
