Welcome to The Ring Masters!! A comic book series introducing African-American kids from Earth helping swing the tide of a civil war taking place on the planet of Saturn.
This project is the culmination of wanting to create a positive image of African-American students after years of seeing negative imagery portrayed in popular culture While some of that portrayal may reflect the reality for some African-American kids, it is not the case for most, and there is a lack of their stories and galactic adventures available for all to enjoy.
This project will also bring in many of the current event issues that trouble our world, and give them a treatment through the lens of other non-earthly cultures. Not to preach, not to promote a specific agenda, other than the time worn battle of good vs evil! That is the constant that will make the adventures of The Ring Masters fun, exciting and relevant.
